Formerly called the
Madaleine, the beach of Sainte Marie du Mont was strewn with small cottages and gave
the inhabitants of the neighborhours the chance to spend their sundays at the seashore.
The cottages were destroyed one by one and were been used as firewood by the Germans in
their bunker. |
